Літературний камертон різноманітності: підсумки фестивалю в Ліллегаммері

Тридцятий Норвезький фестиваль літератури, найбільший у Північній Європі, завершився в Ліллегаммері, відзначивши ювілей потужним міжнародним складом учасників і тематичним акцентом, що змінює координати культурного ландшафту. Понад 300 подій і 400 митців із різних країн зробили свято слова щільним, різноголосим і резонансним. Центральною темою фестивалю стало SáPMI — культурна й літературна присутність саамського та квенного досвіду. Ці голоси більше не сприймаються як етнографічна маргіналія, а як органічна частина північної сцени. У церемонії відкриття брали участь автори Катріне Недрейорд, Сіннйове Персен, М. Сеппола Сімонсен, музиканти Article 3, актори театру Åarjelhsaemien та представники Kväänniteatteri. Престижну премію Бйорнсона (Бйорнстьєрне Бйорнсон, 1832-1910, норвезький письменник, поет та драматург, Лауреат Нобелівської премії з літератури 1903 р, автор Гімну Норвегії). отримала фінсько-естонська письменниця Софі Оксанен — за літературну силу й активну громадянську позицію. Також названо десять найкращих норвезьких авторів до 35 років. Справжнім хедлайнером став візит Харукі Муракамі. Його виступ з програмою Murakami and Music у супроводі новезького джазмена Бугге Весельтофта спричинив аншлаг. А публічна розмова з кронпринцесою Метте-Маріт відкрила інтимні сторінки творчого процесу японського письменника. Сильним акордом став виступ Марі Бойне, саамської співачки, чий дует із Весельтофтом у Maihaugsalen поєднав джаз і йойк. Глибокий резонанс мала зустріч із Катріне Недрейорд, авторкою роману The Sámi Problem.

The 30th edition of the Norwegian Festival of Literature — the largest of its kind in Northern Europe — concluded in Lillehammer, marking its anniversary with a powerful international lineup and a thematic focus that shifted the coordinates of the cultural landscape. With over 300 events and more than 400 writers and artists from around the world, the festival delivered a vibrant, multilayered celebration of literature. This year’s central theme was SáPMI — spotlighting the cultural and literary presence of Sámi and Kven experiences. These voices are no longer seen as ethnographic footnotes, but as integral, evolving parts of the Nordic literary scene. The opening ceremony featured writers Kathrine Nedrejord, Synnøve Persen, and M. Seppola Simonsen, musicians from Article 3, actors from the Sámi theatre Åarjelhsaemien, and representatives of Kväänniteatteri. The prestigious Bjørnson Prize — named after Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson (1832–1910), Norwegian writer, poet, dramatist, Nobel Laureate in Literature and author of the national anthem — was awarded to Finnish-Estonian author Sofi Oksanen. She was honoured for the literary force of her work and her outspoken civic engagement. The festival also announced its selection of the top ten Norwegian writers under the age of 35. A headline moment came with the appearance of Haruki Murakami. His program Murakami and Music, performed alongside Norwegian jazz pianist Bugge Wesseltoft, sold out within minutes. Murakami’s onstage conversation with Crown Princess Mette-Marit offered a rare, intimate insight into the Japanese author’s creative process. Another standout moment was the performance by legendary Sámi singer Mari Boine, whose duet with Wesseltoft in Maihaugsalen fused jazz and traditional joik. Profound resonance also marked the reading by Kathrine Nedrejord, author of The Sámi Problem, a politically charged and emotionally complex novel that sparked deep conversations throughout the week.
